1.      Burn residue: According to the Burned  residue inspection law of the second edition appendix in the 2005’s "China Pharmacopoeia”, residue should not exceed 5% after inspected.

2.      Heavy metal: According to the heavy metal detection law of the second edition appendix in the 2005’s "China Pharmacopoeia”, should not exceed 20ppm after inspected.

2.      Solution preparation

Solution preparation of standard sample：Weigh 100mg standard extract accurately and placed in a 50mL volumetric flask, add methanol to dissolve it and fixed the capacity. Take 2mL into a 50mL volumetric flask and add methanol to fixed the capacity, namely the solution of standard sample.

Replace the standard sample with the common sample, get the solution following the method of standard sample.  

3.      sample determination

Take accurately 1mL solution of standard sample and 1mL solution of standard sample into 10mL  test-tube, add 0.2mL aqueous hydrochloric acid solution of 2g 2%NH₄Fe(SO₄)₂·12H₂O and 6mL acid solution of butanol. Then shaken up.place it in water-bath and heated for 60min and take it into ice-water bath at room temperature. Dilute with butanol to 10mL. compared with the blank solution,measure the absorbance of Solution preparation of standard sample and the common sample at 546nm.
